Squigs Sketches the Fairy-Tale World of Cinderella, Starring Laura Osnes and Santino Fontana

Rodgers & Hammerstein’s Cinderella is making magic in its Broadway premiere! The classic fairy-tale romance chronicles the love story of Ella, a young girl living with her wicked stepmother and stepsisters, and Topher, a prince trying to learn his place in the kingdom. Broadway.com resident artist Justin “Squigs” Robertson stopped by the Broadway Theatre to catch the show and pen a royal portrait of Laura Osnes as Cinderella with co-stars (clockwise from top) Santino Fontana as Prince Topher, Peter Bartlett as Sebastian, Phumzile Sojola as Lord Pinkleton, Greg Hildreth as Jean-Michel, Harriet Harris as Madame, Marla Mindelle as Gabrielle, Ann Harada as Charlotte and Victoria Clark as Marie. About the Artist: With a desire to celebrate the magic of live theater and those who create it, and with a deep reverence for such touchstones as the work of Al Hirschfeld and the wall at Sardi’s, Squigs is happy and grateful to be among those carrying on the traditions where theater and caricature meet.
